What this policy covers

This policy covers swready.com. SW Ready is a free public resource; you do not need to create an account, provide an email address, or purchase anything to read it. SW Test Prep is a separate product with its own privacy policy on swtestprep.com.

Information processed when you visit

Our infrastructure processes IP addresses and basic request metadata to deliver and protect the site. We also count aggregate page views without attaching them to an account, email address, or persistent analytics identifier. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable this optional aggregate count.

If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include so we can respond. Please do not send confidential client, health, financial, or other sensitive information.

Some features, including automated chat, use third-party large language model providers. By choosing to use one of these features, you authorize SW Ready to send the text you submit and limited relevant site context to those providers so the feature can respond. Chat is not attached to an SW Ready account. Do not submit confidential client information, payment details, passwords, health information, or other sensitive data.

If you submit a tutor interest form, we collect the name, email, phone number, résumé, license information, years of experience, tutoring experience, and statement you provide. The application is delivered to an authorized hiring inbox and is not published or added to a public tutor directory.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels.
• We do not require an SW Ready account to access career guidance.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Our database provider receives only aggregate page-count events generated by the site. Resend processes messages, including tutor applications, for delivery to the intended inbox. Third-party model providers process text deliberately submitted through model-assisted features and limited relevant site context to generate a response. These providers process data only to deliver their services to us and may operate in other jurisdictions.

Your choices

You can use browser privacy controls, enable Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, clear local site storage, or contact us to ask about an email you sent. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of personal information. Tutor applications are kept only as long as reasonably needed to consider current or future opportunities and meet legal obligations; you may ask us to delete yours.
